our campus is shared part of another college thus there is always space issues. All the classrooms ad las are well equipped with ACs and projectors. we have a small ground which can manage games like volleyball, basketball, badminton but we have to face issue while playing football and cricket due to space size. the whole campus is very neat and clean and the mess food is good
All the faculties are well qualified did Phd in their respective fields. They have good command over the topic of their field. our course curriculum is though not updated but we along with faculties work on various projects which gives us the practical insights which eventually help us in being job ready.
we have various recruiters like amazon,OYO , delloite etc But we have very few companies for core branch like TATA powers for EEE branch. Highest package offered is 39LPA by microsoft . We have average salary around 6LPA . Around 80% of students got placed with good package.
I pay around 40K per semester with 10k per semester for hostel and 3k per month for mess having average food quality. With such small fees for such facilities which private college cannot offer, I think every penny of my money worths.
we have a small campus area which creates hurdles many times such a during any sports event organisation or fest, though we have two fests every year along with freshers and farewell party. many Teachers ad staffs are helpful in their respective domains. It is located near Haryana border with around 200m away from Harishchadra hospital thus we can better adjusted during emergencies.
College has all the facilities which are required in the classroom. The facilities include: spacious, well ventilated class rooms, with projector and whiteboards. Library is small but every other book is available. Wifi speed is average, but hardly gets disrupted. Hostels are having very small rooms, but almost all facilities are there. Food is like any other college mess, but hygiene is well maintained.
College is quite inclined towards the academics side. However, the syllabus isn't that updated to the current times and it doesn't help us much for getting ready for the professional world. Teaching quality is good, but syllabus updation is something which is required by any other Engineering colleges of our Country.
Our college is relatively new (10 years). The placements are improving every year substantially. Major companies are coming and the number of students getting placed are increasing over the years. Highest salary offered was last year with ₹40L from Microsoft.
Education costed around ₹1, 50,000 a year, for a general category student. It is pretty reasonably priced. I believe this would be worth the money for me.
Unfortunately, the college's permanent campus hasn't been made, despite being 10 years old. There is very little space as the college is being in a rented space. The location is in not a very safe area, but two major hospitals are present just beside the college.
If someone is willing to join in this college for good qualities with not much money, NIT Delhi would be a good place.
NIT Delhi does not have their own campus, so it will have all the laboratory except machanical. Electrical lab is also conjusted because of less space. We have good advanced classrooms, libraries and sports centers. Most of students do their best in sports teams. 1st and 2nd year hostel are far away from the campus so students faces a little bit problems. But girls and boys of 3rd and 4th year have hostel in campus or nearby. In hostel their are avg availability of wifi. Living spaces are good.
Like other engineering colleges we also have updated academic and this is mentor by NIT warangal. Professors of Electrical and Electronics department are goods but most of professor are Assistant Professors. While making some hardware projects we have to faces a lot of problems because of mechanical lab. Our training and placement cell is also working good so most of us get job hence we can say that curriculum is more job oriented
I think because of less students we have good opportunities of placements. Most of students get jobs. Some branches like Electrical students don't have much opportunities to work in Cote companies because companies don't have to much options as less no of students in that branches. Average salary is about to 10 lac for the cse students but some students of electrical engineering proven thier best placements of getting package of 39 lac. Most of placements depends on the skills of students.
Fees is dependent on the annual income of family. I think that we are also get as other colleges students are got. We also have opportunities to manage each events directly.so get various experiences with knowledge
College life is very good. We have all the flexibility and opportunities to enjoy as a student of other colleges do. We have most of empty time to play or enjoy our life. Students also have oopportunities to do enjoy and decide their future.
NIT DELHI has no permanent campus till now. Our campus is shared with another MHRD college, but still, we got plenty of space for our sports and other activities. The academic section of college is no under the effect of small space(laboratories, classes, auditorium, libraries, sports centres and hostels (for eg. WiFi, smart boards). Are they all used and well-maintained
currently i am in electronics and communication department. Here all teachers are helpful, mostly are qualified PhD and knowledgable and manner of teaching are good. Teaching methods used are spoken words and PPT both. There is only 3 batch with total students are near about 700-800 and facilities members are 20-30.We haven’t got any industrial exposure. This is the worst thing about our college as they haven’t provided us the industrial exposure.
Placements in NIT Delhi for an electrical branch is good. Average package is around 6 lakhs per annum. Percentage placement is 90 per cent. Talking about only electrical branch highest package is 10 lacks per annum. Various companies visited our campus for the placements. Only 2 students got the internships from the college this year with Stipend around 10 thousands per month
I pay around 20k per semester for college and hostels. Also, I pay 3000 per month for the mess. spending much less money with such good facilities with an NIT tag makes every penny of my money worth for it.
No self campus. The campus is little so connectivity are better with senior and faculty members. In spite of all these we have two fests in one year along with freshers and fairwell party . Teachers, faculties , and staff members are helpful in academics and also in non academics issues.
The infrastructure caters well to the needs of student, there are enough resources for students. Library & sports grounds are well maintained, though in hostels sometimes there's a problem of wifi connectivity. Mess food is okayish.
I'm pursuing CSE here because CS & its related fields like AI & ML have always fascinated me. The quality of teaching is good. Curriculum is updated with modern industry demands & I don't think seeking a job is what they taught to NITians.
5/5 because though it is a newly established NIT, it's placement scenario is way better than its contemporaries. TnP cell of college is very supportive, this is the reason why students from here get placed at Microsoft,Paytm,Amazon etc.
Cource cost per year depends on annual family income. I feel I'm getting my money's worth.
Though the campus is outside main city & permanent campus is still under construction but the campus life is amazing. The peer group, teachers all are the best one can get. It can handle emergencies. NITD is ana experience of a lifetime.
A college is made by its students, the students of NIT Delhi are just more than awesome:)
NIT Delhi is situated near harayana border in narela locality. We don't have a permanent campus thus we share the campus with of economic studies. We have neat ant clean campus .All labs and classes are equipped with AC and projector .We have a library but not have enough books so there is always a race to grab a book. We have two hostel one at kundli for 1st and 2nd year students and other inside Harishchandra hospital campuse for 3rd and 4th year students.
We have well educated professor which depict a particular topic in depth. Syllabus is not updated as it not meet current industrial demand but our professor are really helpful which helps us in various projects which eventually made us develop practical skill and make us job ready
our average salary stands around 5 lacs per annum. Many students got package around 10-12 lacs per annum and only d=few students with very good skills got 20+ lacs package. We have companies like Deloitte ,Tata power , etc. But our TnP cell fail to get companies of core electronic branch have to study extra related to coding along with their core subjects.
yes
We have space concious issues which arises at the time of fest & sports tournament which makes it a worst experience .But we have good facility for badminton ,basketball, vollyball,.Many seniors guide us for placement and studies .Also teachers and staffs are really helpful in day to day matters.
My opinion is that NIT-D collage is perfect to our carrier ........./
We don't have permanent campus thus lack of space become hurdle many a time. Even we don't have well equipped labs. All classroom and labs are equipped with projectors and ACs . Campus is quite clean .
I am in electronics and communication branch which has good faculties as they go deeper in concepts but we have outdated syllabus which doesn't meet current industrial demand. But students work with help of faculties on various projects so to get ready for jobs.
Many of students get 5-8 lacs of package and only some get 10+ lacs package. Almost 90% of students got placed with average salary of 6 lacs per annum. College support is only minimal as they failed to welcome high package awarding companies but our aluminis help sometimes in this regards by making references.
I spend about 40k per annum due to government of India initiative which is much less for an NIT tag. With this expense which is less than private college, it worth of every penny . However some great areas college need to get concern about it.
This is good college for students interested In academic apart extra curricular activities as we don't have such kind of infrastructure to develop such extra skills. Many teachers are supportive and also many staffs helps in various indirect ways. Campus is in narela that is near Haryana borders and about 200 m away we have well equipped hospital to handle any sort of emergency.
Not well equipped labs. Not even well equipped sports facilities due to lack of space. Even hostel located at far distdance nearly 15km from campus building. Mechanical bracnch is only available to Mtech and Phd students and runs in container like classroom
Many teachers did the phd but onky few of them how to express a particular topic effectively. There is always a race to grab books from library due to insufficiency of books. Although all the classroom and labs equipped with ACs but it not helps to improve the academic.
Many companies come for CSE and students only. Even if a students from another branch has good coding skills,he maynot allowed to sit on that placement drive .many of companies come here with 5-8 lacs package and only some got around 12+ lacs packages.
Due to government of India initiative, i pay less for an NIT tag thus it eventually cost effective for me as i pay about 80k per annum. None the less we work hard ourselves to get it worth and earn the NIT tag.
It has some good aspect but many bad aspects. Its hostel located in jungles of TDI for juniors but we enjoyed there at our own costs by organising various events. Girls to boys ratio is very steepe. And the campus is located far from delhi .
If you have interest only in academic then you are welcome but if you want overall college life please dont come here untill new camous built and new director appointed .
With a 72 percentile in JEE Main and General category, your rank would be around 3.1–3.3 lakh, which is far beyond the cutoff for NIT Delhi. Even for less demanded branches, General category cutoffs at NIT Delhi usually close below 40,000–50,000.
So, admission to NIT Delhi is not possible with 72 percentile in General category.

Hi aspirant,
If you have a Delhi CBSE reservation, you will be eligible for a seat under the home state quota, which accounts for approximately 50% of the available seats . After this, your admission will depend on the rank and percentile you achieve in the JEE Mains exam.
Popular branches, such as Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Electronics Engineering, generally have higher cutoffs.
To secure a seat in these fields, you typically need a percentile above 98-99 or a rank between 10,000 and 15,000.
