Look don't gonna lie, infrastructure of our college is one of it's weakest point. The academic building is old and vulnerable but are being under renovation. We are gonna get new lecture hall in the next semester equipped with every necessity. Labs are good so as the library n sports culture. Library has good wifi connection n well ventilated. But hostels are excellent. Each n every hostel Hostel J, K are mega hostels and I personally like the Hostel I.
I'm currently pursuing ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING here. Curriculum is not well updated but we get all kind of informations and materials mostly from our seniors through a whole lot of workshops. The seniors are really helpful. They are very kind. They give a very good environment and culture for us to be industry fit. A good coding culture is also one of it's renowned qualities.
Nothing to say about placements. If you are willing to work hard, you have the best place that you can get. Excellent placements of the core branches too specifically electrical n mechanical. Last year the highest package of around 43 lakhs went to an electrical guy in Microsoft. The industrial belt makes it so good in placements and also the quality of students that we have. This year too around 75/78 guys are placed from electrical till now. And in other branches too placement is excellent.
If you are hardworking then this college can get you to unthinkable heights. In undergraduate from my session we get to pay around ₹ 2,10,000 per annum which adds upto around 8.5 lakhs in 4 years which is way too less than most of the private colleges. When you leave the college with certain hardwork then you must bag a package of around 8.5 lakhs which is what you spend for four years. Its really worth it.
Very good campus life. Great hostels with LAN availability in the evening to midnight and 24 hour long during the weekend. We have pappu daa shop. The shop I personally love the most. You get all kinda eating things here at a reasonable price which is cool being inside the campus. We have amul canteen too. A night canteen for the mega hostels. They charge slightly higher being a night canteen. We have a common canteen called as NIT canteen where you can eat with a large group of friends n girls.
I find it a very interesting college. I really enjoy being enrolled to electrical engineering from this college cause the seniors are just big brothers. Enjoy playing basketball being a fan of it. Two excellent courts in 4th year hostel. If you are getting admission here, then I can truly convince you that you ain't gonna regret this.
My institute have all the necessary infrastructure like proper classes. The new academic building we have got has air conditioned sloping lecture halls with comfy benches. We have 25x7 water and electricity. We are also endowed with 24x7 lan with min speed of 12mbps which may go as high as 60-70 mbps at peak hours. The library is just cool. Thousands of books of any genre you want to see. And most my friends miss the mess food when we are at home. So u can probably imagine the level of food.
You come here for better job opportunities. So only bookish knowledge is definitely not going to help you. You will get here an ambient environment of coding or people interested in management or other proffession that you may think of.
The placement is one thing we at NIT JAMSHEDPUR boast off. Almost ?% are placed from each branch in their interested companies. The package that you get here is on average 10-12 lpa highest going as high as 60+ lpa, which , obviously, depends completely on your talent.
Maximum people get back their in fee reimbursement process. Even you are not that lucky the fee here is worth paying.
It is just amazing. Once you come here you will never want to go back home. You will have your own rules, own family, own enjoyment.
If you get a chance to get in here just come. Here the hostels when seen from outside look like some 3- star accommodations and obviously from inside it's the most sophisticated hostel I have ever seen. Just in love with my institution.
For hostels ~single room from 2nd year double in first year but if you are lucky enough u can get it in 1st year as well? labs are shitty but hope for good some are under maintenance....a new academic building has been built and few are comparing it with MIT?(its good though) actually very good?..hostel m internet aate jate rehta h..but wifi is available in library and CC....movies or lectures download krne m problem ni hogi?
There are many things to learn and which will interest you but yes in india there are not much companies related to ECE core so you will have to learn coding on your own to get a good job...PS- workshops are organised on regular basis to help you learn stuffs..
Placement is the reason people come here for..it has an outstanding placement record...placement ka koi load ni h bro..u can easily get a 7 figure salary here..the harder you work the better you get paid
1.16 lac per semester..fee waivers, scholarships, loans all are handy so no worries...placement is good here so yes its value for money..apart from that you will enjoy the fests here.. the time you spend in this college will be the best..
A good option of restaurants are avilable in the city and buses from campus to city are on regular basis so yes you will not get bored here....you can always hangout in canteen or anywhere you just need your friends
You will spend the best four years of your life here...you can plan for trips and stuff...you will enjoy the fests here...girls boys ratio are also pretty good..around 50 clubs are there to help everyone discover themselves and find out what you are good at..overall its a good choice...
Yes the college presently has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments in the new academic building which is yet to be started. We have been provided with all the modern day facilities in the building which ia yet to be started in the next semester. The food provided is good and very hygienic with the hostels well maintained.
I am pursuing mechanical engineering as it was the branch i got in the csab counselling. We have been provided with good teachers and our curriculum is not that updated as in the IITs . Yet being in an industrial city like JAMSHEDPUR the study makes is job ready.
There has been always a good placement in CSE and ECE branches and an average in the others. Many companies come for placement like Microsoft and amazon in non core and larsen and tourbo tata steel , motors in core.
It costs me approximately 2lac 10 thousand a year. The money is worth it with the quality of education and facilities provided. We are provided with fast wifi all day . All sports can be played as they have there respective grounds.
Its quite a big campus with all the necessary amenities. There are various fests organized regularly. Ojass the techno management fest, culfest the cultural fest and urja the sports fest of not JAMSHEDPUR
Good infrastructure of nit Jamshedpur but not too good according to their tagline of NIT. But improvement in our college's infrastructure is under process which is the best thing for us to study in good environment....
Academic is also good of nit Jamshedpur. Our teacher's are dedicated towards their duty of teaching and all. They are helpful too regarding solving our doubts. One thing that can be improve that is our lab facilities..
I can say nice quality of placement at our college. Around 85% of students were placed here. Highest salary of 43 lakhs were offered to two students at Microsoft and they opted computer science course. The average salary offered is around 12 to 14 lakhs....
2,08,000Rs per year our course cost us. I feel my money do not worth according to their value. But not too bad...
It's best thing is pollution free environment and it's worst thing is that we can't feel like that we study in a nit brand type college... Most of the students are engaged in improving themselves in all field of innovation... Yes it is safe and it can also handle the emergency situation on its own......
The infrastructure of national institute of technology Jamshedpur is very good. Laboratories, library, classroom etc. Facilities provided by this college is very good.Hostel of this college is one of the best hostel in all colleges.
The academics of national institute of technology Jamshedpur is very good. All faculties of this college are well qualified.Theycover all contents related to sallabus in class. They also taught us about letest develop technologies.
The placement of national institute of technology Jamshedpur is great . This is attractive points of this college for fresher student. The placement record of all branches of this college is above 90%. Highest pacageofthis college is about 50 lakhs.
The fee structure of national institute of technology Jamshedpur is not enough. Student's whose family condition is not good , college give him full discount on tution fee.
Campus life of national institute of technology Jamshedpur is very good. The campus of this college situated in Jharkhand which has large no. Of hill . Hill are very attractive place. The senior of this college are also very supportive.
I am very happy after taking admission in this college . This college is far better than my expectations.
New academic building is almost ready with a outstanding looks and structure. Mega hostels are also there in good condition. All the old buildings are in process of refurbishing. In coming 2 to 3 years nit jsr will be among top institute in terms of infrastructure.
Quality of teaching is good. Curriculum is updated time to time. New sllaybus is being updated according to the needs of current education system. Teachers are very supportive here. They are always ready to help you.
Nit jsr is among top 10 nit's in terms of placement. Placements are very good here. One of the reason for good placement is that Jamshedpur is a city surrounded by various industries, one of the major being TATA Steel.
Per year cost is around 2.3 lakhs ( including 2 semester).
College campus is good having all essentials like shops, night canteen, etc.
I have a great experience till now in the college. All seniors are very supportive. Various fests and events are also organised to refresh your mood.
Our collage has all necessary infrastructures but are old. Some new building are being build now. We have mechanics lab, electrical lab, electronics lab, chem lab and ED lab. This institute comprises all these but need upgradation. Our class is similar to that of in our school it has benches, blackboard , fans and tubelight. But we have a very good library with lots of books, ebooks, wifi, reading space and peaceful environment. One thing is sure the Institute is very clean and hygienic.
I am doing B. Tech in mechanical engineering and I thing the quality of teaching is good here. We have to maintain at least 75% attendance in each subject to sit in exam. Actually I am in first year so don't know much about updated curriculum but heard from seniors that their curriculum now comprises sone new subjects. Apart from studies our Institute have many clubs, technical teams and fests in which different events make us job ready.
I head from seniors that our Institute had very good placement senario and even had 100% placement percentage but now due to ressession there is problem in placement but still we had 88% people placed in last year batch. The highest salary offerd was around 16-17 lakh and the average is around 8 lakh. Our collage have training and placement cell (TAP Cell) which supports in every way it could in placement.
It costs almost 1lakh per semester or we can say 2 lakh per year. I think it is worth for me. Apart from studies we have LAN in our hostel, good and clean hostel., average but hygenic food, bus facilities, medical facilities. We have an outstanding library. We have diffents sports team and ground, computer centre and even a bank in our campus.
We have many technical teams we make prototype of plane and racing cars we have many cultural teams such as singing (ROOH) , dancing(BEAT BEAKERS) etc. We also have teams for coding, enterprneurship, quizzing, and management. The worst thing in our collage is lack of connection between departments . We have to run form department to department for a single work to be done. It seems like we are in any government office
I would give 4 stars or may be 3 but my mistake it goes to 5 and I am not able to correct it but anyway it is a good place and the most entertaining thing in this Institute is fests. I must say they are amazing although I have seen only our sport's fest URJA but heard alot about other also.
Central library, "hostel rooms are hygienic with good food". Food is available on both south and North style.. A good weather. Everything is available in campus itself. But sometimes hostel fails to provide wifi..
Study is good. Here the studies updates till the date..For each and every subject professor are provided for the classes. And I will definitely say that I will be provided by a good placement in this college.
As our college stands in the top 10 among all 31 NIT's in the placement. Many colleges fails to place the students in metallurgy ,production but our college these students get 98% placement..Every one gets placement..
Good infrastructure with good capacity for students to hold at maximum. Very big lecture halls are there with surrounding sound system used by professors during their lectures. Cleanliness is strictly taken into account.
Very good and experienced faculty with outstanding spoken skills. They have high degree with them and conduct good interactions with students. They strictly adhere to the course curriculum and give us valuable inputs.
100% placement guaranteed confirm . The training and placement cell is often looked after. They regularly have the meeting regarding placement. HRs of different companies are kept in touch everyday and emails are sent.
Value for money it is...
Awesome life at campus
