Beautiful surroundings and tidy living quarters. Every classroom has a smart board for interactive learning Infrastructure.They provide facilities like wifi ,library , computer lab, electronics laboratories etc. Atmosphere feels great.

My faculty is interactive and always ready to solve query. They also provide notes with excellent explanation.taking advantage of the experienced staff, all of whom have more than five years of experience.

students are offered packages ranging from 5-6 lakhs per annum in 2023. Students with exceptional skills can even secure packages upto 1 crores lpa.The average salary offered to the students is around 3lpa which is very less.

NITK's campus is renowned for its exceptional facilities. As a student at NITK, I must say that the academics here are a mixed bag. While some courses and professors are exceptional, others may fall short of expectations. The curriculum is comprehensive but can be demanding at times. However, the institute does provide ample resources and support for self-learning and research. The faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and always ready to help. The hands-on experiences in labs and practical sessions are very good.

Placements for Mechanical engineering at NITK are decent, but the number of top-tier companies is limited. While good companies do visit the campus, the overall placement scenario could be more diverse and expansive. However, the institute provides strong support for internships and encourages students to explore off-campus opportunities to enhance their chances. Networking and proactive engagement can significantly improve placement prospects.

NITK offers excellent value for money. The annual fee of 2 lakhs is reasonable considering the quality of education, infrastructure, and opportunities provided. It's pretty good college.the equipment and facilities are very ossm,I can say that it is one of the best colleges in our sate with good equipment.the huge laboratories,libraries,canteens are the main and important spots for our enjoyment.

Our college is the regional engineering college and made great accomplishments in the placements,the faculty and the administration is very good and helps the students with all the doubts regarding the subjects and our curriculum is very upto date.

The placements are pretty good in our college recently the package of 51,50,000/- for one of my seniors is the highest package during the campus placements many mnc's and Indian companies come and interviews us and there are mock interviews from the starting year for helping the students regarding the placements during interviews.

Yeahhh..!!!I am pretty satisfied with everything till now.value for money means the money which we spent till now are meaning full I think so.i feel so good regarding studies,curriculum,hostel,libaries etc.

Yeahhhh..!!this is the main thing which I wanna tell everyone,our college life is the best one in which I enjoyed a lotttt during offline class and but now due to covid-19 I am not enjoying that much even though I hope so I go back to our college and life that happy life.

Infrastructure, facilities and equipment is not at all a problem in here at NIT K, Surathkal. We have all the labs and sophisticated equipment since it's not just an engineering college, its also one of the leading research institutions of india. All the PCs in the laboratory are linux based making it easier for the students. All the faculty are provided with MACs for their convinence. We have 150 Mbps internet spread over the campus of 300 acres.

Each and every professor here has reached the great level of expertise in their respective subjects. Almost all the professors are PhD holders from the leading institutions across the world. Ofcourse,self learning is what most of the students do when it comes to engineering and it is highly appreciated with all the equipment in the laboratory for experiments.

Despite the pandemic, just like every year, even this 2021 placements were good enough increasing the average student package from 10 Lpa to 11Lpa and as always, going with the trend, computer science dept has received the highest package of 51Lpa in 2021 despise online placements and pandemic. More than 80% of the students are placed and remaining opted for higher education. And computer science dept has got 100% placements.

Campus life at NIT K is at its best. Its spread over 300 acres in the midst of green western ghats and the blue arabian with 13 food messes, night canteens, and above all a private beach for the campus. Campus is located along the national highway and can be reached to Mangalore airport, Mangalore shipyard, then railway station, all within 20 minutes making it travel convenient for the students.

The college infrastructure is fine, the 1 first year classrooms are pretty old but form 2nd year they are very well made , we have good labs, and libraries has all the academics books to borrow. There is good sports facilities. Hostel food is isn't that good . First year and second year hostels are shared and washrooms are common so it not clean , but they do clean it alternate days or if you tell the In charge about it.

The teaching quality Is fine, there are few very good professors in some departments and some aren't that great , but if you study regularly you can manage, and curriculum vice they cover all the basics and also provide advanced but not all electives mentioned in course plan will be provided.

The college has good placement record, many big companies do come for placement , but majority good jobs are for computer science related fields, core psu and mnc for ee and ec and mechanical also come bur they don't have much intake.

Here we have two hostel For Btech first and second year students, the hostels are very very old but they are good enough. They all have common bathrooms but they are well ventilated. And for third and fourth year we have Mega Towers which are very nice. In Mega Towers, we have separate rooms for each person and a common bathroom shared by about 10-12 people. Classrooms:- There are 3 Lecture Halls name LHC - A, B and C. LHC C is the best among all of them and LHC A is the worst.

Academic is very nice but some time professor are boring. You have to do extra work apart from the studies apart from Academics. Professors from Mech. department are the worst. If planning for Mech, beware!!!

Different department have different placement record. For example placement for cse and it are best in class. Companies like Microsoft, Facebook, Goldman Sachs, etc. come to our college. And college have cdc career development center to place student and placement for our branch are not so good

It's a government the fee is usually less. So don't have to worry about fee. And there are different scholarship. And by Comparing with other private colleges like Manipal, Bits, etc. Soo it's value for money

We have amazing seniors to help, two fests, one ENGINEER (technical fest), and the other INCIDENT (cultural fest). INCIDENT is the best fest overall as it is the second largest fest in whole of South India after IIT Bombay's MOOD INDIGO. Soo campus life is amazing

Since, it is a govt. college, you dont have to worry about the fees. They are very low when compared to other private colleges like Manipal, Bits, etc. Now, I have nothing more to say and my friend has recommended me this, I have to fill this box just to cross the minimum characters XD.

The college infrastructure is really good. It has extra-ordinary facilities such as neat classrooms, good libraries, laboratories also with proper equipment. The WiFi is also provided and sports center is also pretty good.

I had pursued MTech in this college. The quality of teaching is of high and good standard. Professors deliver the lectures really well. The curriculum includes all the recent technologies and methods which are very important for students to become job ready.

The quality if placements at this college have been extremely good. The percentage of students placed were about 80% and the highest salary offered was about 18lpa. The placement process is also very easy and college is highly supportive.

The course had costed me 1 lakh per year. I definitely feel that it is justified to pay that money as the college provides really good resources.

The campus life is pretty good. The best features are the research labs in which students can work. The students can also engage in cultural activities. The campus is very safe.

Overall, The college is extremely good.

It has almost all the facilities that are required for studies and healthy lifestyle. You get 5GB data per day. Food is not so good in 1st year messes but it improves eventually. You get a lot of sports facilities and equipments for practice and tournaments

Most of the teachers are helpful and willing to teach. They teach you what is in the curriculum and guide you for jobs and interpreneurship. The curriculum though is old and updation is required. A few professors are least interested in teaching us.

Highest placements are usually from IT and CS departments and the average package of these branches is around 14-15 lap. Placement rates of all branches circuital and non circuital both are good and average package of all branches is satisfactorily high.

Course costs around 5.5 lakh (including hostel and mess) Studying here for well paid job and B Tech is worth but if you wish for a lavish campus life It is not a place for you.

The infrastructure is pretty great and there are also some old buildings in the college. The broadband connection is great . The places are safe and hygienic but quality of food is somewhat bad here which is a major concern.

The syllabus will be updated time to time and curriculum is industry based which makes the student job ready.This helps the students to get placements. Webinars are also conducted time to time. Teachers are also well trained.

Placements here are pretty low compared to other nots but are pretty good compared to other colleges. CSE tops the list in placements followed by ECE. The highest package is 48lpa. The top companies do attend here.
