ICFAI Business School (IBS), established in 1995, follows a rigorous regime regarding the admission process to their globally accepted programs, which are structured in a way that delivers a comprehensive and holistic development to its students, who are pursuing different courses listed by the university.
The admission process primarily initiates by stating the required entrances that the students willing to take admission in IBS colleges are required to take. The same set of entrance exam scores are accepted at each of the IBS campuses that are located at Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Bangalore (off-campus of Hyderabad), Kolkata, Jaipur, Pune, and Mumbai.

The ICFAI Business School (IBS) follows a common entrance exam for both MBA/PGPM programs at IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Hyderabad, and an off-campus of IBS Hyderabad at Bangalore, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai, and IBS Pune campuses and Ph.D. program (full-time/part-time) at IBS Hyderabad campus.
The name of the IBS entrance exam is IBSAT, the application form of which is available online at the portal of IBS, as well as offline at the nearest marketing offices of IBS campuses located in various cities. The fee for the application form is 1800 INR, which is mandatory to be paid by everyone. On completing the application form, a confirmatory email is sent to the student on the listed email id, provided by the student himself/herself while filling out the application form.
The mode of IBSAT entrance is Computer Based Test (CBT) that consists of multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is of 2 hours and is aimed at testing the applicant’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning, and reading comprehension.
Other than the IBSAT scores, the IBS university also accepts scores from few other entrance exams, which are national aptitude entrances common for diverse sections of students, across the nation. These entrance exams are GMAT, NMAT by GMAC, and CAT scores (from 2019 onwards). These students, who have attained scores from these entrance exams, are exempted from taking IBSAT entrance by IBS.

Application Process at ICFAI Business School
The application and admission process of IBS university that has different campuses in various locations remains the same for all. The admission process initiates with filling out an entrance application form known as the IBSAT entrance form through an online portal or offline via purchasing the IBSAT bulletin and paying the application fee. The form requires few personal details and mandatory documents, needed for evaluating the eligibility of the student for the applied course.
