ICFAI Business School Scholarship on Basis of 12th Class Marks

IBS Hyderabad, a constituent college of ICFAI Foundation of Higher Education (IFHE) provides scholarships to meritorious students under different criteria. One such criterion of providing scholarships is the merit of the academic achievers in their 12th standard. This merit-based scholarship is mainly given to the students who have opted for undergraduate courses, i.e. B.A. in economics or BBA program, as their choice of the degree to be studied at IBS Hyderabad.

Merit-Based Scholarships
IBS institute offers few scholarships to the new admissions based on their merits or scores attained in 12th standard examinations or equivalent examinations. These merit-based scholarships support students in monetary terms and also encourage them to achieve higher in the future. The list of merit-based scholarships provided by IBS is as follows.

The merit-based scholarships offered by IBS Hyderabad under the guidance of the ICFAI Foundation of Higher Education (IFHE) are contingent on the academic performance of the students in their 12th standard. The discipline of students in the 12th standard is irrelevant for the deciding criteria for the provided scholarships, as the merit of the students is the key factor on which the scholarships are decided.
Scholarship of INR 1,05,000: is provided to the students who have achieved more than or equal to 90% in their 12th standard board exams or equivalent examinations. The amount of scholarship provided is equally divided among the six semesters, i.e., per semester a student is given an amount of INR 17,500 as the stated scholarship received by the student.
Scholarship of INR 72,000: is provided to the students who have achieved more than or equal to 80% but not higher than 90% in their 12th standard board exams or equivalent examinations. The amount of scholarship provided in this case, is also equally divided among the six semesters, i.e., per semester a student is given an amount of INR 12,000 as the stated scholarship received by the student.
Scholarship of INR 45,000: is provided to the students who have achieved more than or equal to 70% but not higher than 80% in their 12th standard board exams or equivalent examinations. The amount of scholarship provided in this case, is also equally divided among the six semesters, i.e., per semester a student is given an amount of INR 7,500 as the stated scholarship received by the student.

General Conditions Followed by IBS Offering Merit-Based Scholarships
The Merit-Based scholarships after the 12th standard are only offered to the students taking admission in undergraduate courses, available at IBS Hyderabad.
The scholarships are provided in the form of financial assistance to the newcomers in the college, who have an excellent past academic record.
The scholarships offered strictly adhere to the criteria listed above and are uniform across different courses.
The scholarship amount is equally divided among the number of semesters in the chosen degree of the selected student, i.e., a BBA student winning a scholarship of INR 1,05,000 will be given INR 17,500 per semester (6 semesters), and not INR 1,05,000 at once.
