LIBA: Admission Process

Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) situated in the realms of Chennai offers diverse full-time and part-time courses to the prospective students who are willing to take admission at LIBA. The admission process of all the courses offered at LIBA entails meeting basic eligibility criteria which are similar to each other in a few aspects but differ in others. The details of eligibility criteria for different courses are discussed as the following.

LIBA Eligibility Criteria for Full-Time P.G.D.M Course

• The applicant must have completed his/her graduation in any discipline under regular mode only from a recognized university (i.e., one accredited through AIU).

• The applicant must have secured a persistent higher academic performance in STD X, STD XII & Graduation, with a minimum of 60% marks at all levels.

• The applicants with a clear academic record of passing all the subjects in their first attempt are to be preferred. While applicants with a record of more than two reattempts are requested to NOT to apply.

• The applicants must also fulfill the prerequisite condition of submitting the scores of either CAT or XAT while applying for admission at LIBA.

LIBA Eligibility Criteria for Part-Time P.G.D.M. Course

• The candidate must have completed his/her graduate from a recognized and accredited university with a minimum of 50% marks.

Or

• The candidate must possess a professional qualification granted as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.

• The candidate must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in Business or Industrial or Government work.

• The candidate must be employed at the time of applying for the program at LIBA.

LIBA Eligibility Criteria for One Year Executive Diploma in Management

• The candidate must have completed his/her graduate from a recognized and accredited university with a minimum of 50% marks.

Or

• The candidate must possess a professional qualification granted as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.

Steps to Apply at LIBA

Step 1: Applicants are required to log in to http://admissions.liba.edu to fill the application form.

Step 2: On clicking on the above-stated link, the applicants are required to click on the Apply Now option on the home page.

Step 3: Clicking on apply now, will direct the applicants to create a User Registration. The applicants are required to fill in the details.

Step 4: Filling the details on the registration page will generate a user ID and password for the students that applicants must use to log in to their accounts.

Step 5: After logging into their accounts, applicants are required to enter CAT ID / XAT ID,

personal details and upload their passport size photograph.

Step 6: Applicants are then asked to enter their academic details and upload all the supporting documents.

Step 7: After academic details, applicants are required to enter their work experience details and upload the supporting documents, also providing the reference information.

Step 8: After filling in the information, applicants are required to confirm all the details and submit the application form.

Step 9: Applicants on submitting the application form are then asked to pay Rs. 1500/- online via credit card / Debit Card /Net Banking.

Step 10: Download the completed application form in PDF and email it to admissions@liba.edu

LIBA Hostel Fees

LIBA offers a great hostel facility to both male and female students studying at the institution. The hostels are equipped with air-conditioned rooms, washing machine and refrigerator facilities, RO water purifiers, and other additional amenities including medical assistance. The fees structure for both male and female students is the same and is to be paid fully in advance of the starting year. The fees structure for the hotel facility is mentioned in the table below.

LIBA Courses Offered

The courses offered at LIBA are structured primarily under three categories. These three categories are full-time PGDM and PGP Logistics Course, part-time PGDM course, One Year Executive Diplomas in diverse domains, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration affiliated to the University of Madras.
