IRMA Admission Process and Criteria

The IRMA admission process for the PGDM programme is a minimum 15 years of education with an aggregate score of 50% in the graduate level examination. Further, candidates will be evaluated on their CAT/XAT scores. The final round will include a personal interview and a Written Ability Test (WAT). The minimum eligibility for an Executive- PGDM is the same as a PGDM degree with an additional acceptance of GMAT scores in the application process and a 5 year work experience at a managerial/supervisory role. The IRMA admission process for the FPM in Rural Management requires a postgraduate degree with 50% aggregate scores/grades and 2000 word long research proposal. The entrance exams accepted for the FPM admission process are CAT, GMAT/GRE, UGC-JRF/NET, CSIR-JRF/NET, ICAR-SRF, ICAR/ASRB-NET, GATE. Selected candidates will be further called for a personal interview.

IRMA Courses Offered

IRMA institute offers courses for only postgraduate studies. The choices of courses available at IRMA are PGDM in Rural Management, Executive PGDM in Rural Management and a Fellowship Programme in Rural Management. The applicants have a choice amongst these courses while taking admission in IRMA.

IRMA Fees Structure

The IRMA fees for its postgraduate courses range from Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 15 lakh, depending on the choice of course. Whereas, the application fees range between Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 2,500.

IRMA Scholarships

IRMA offers multiple types of scholarships to the applicants taking admission in IRMA. IRMA has a merit based scholarship worth 1.7 crores for approx. 20 students applying to the PGDM programme. Out of which, 10 scholarships are only reserved for female candidates. The scholarship will cover up to 50% of the total fees. More scholarships for the PGDM students are Mirae Asset Foundation Scholarship, IDFC FIRST Bank MBA Scholarship. IRMA also offers fully-covered ST and SC scholarships. The SC scholarship is available to cover 4 students in all their expenses and the SC scholarship covers the full expense of 5 students.

IRMA Location

The IRMA institute is spread across a 60-acre campus that is complete with all the facilities that are necessary and required by the students for a better learning experience. The campus is equipped with up-to-date facilities like lecture halls, seminar rooms, library, auditorium, Executive Training and Development Centre (ETDC), students hostels, Student Activity Centre (SAC), faculty and staff housing.

IRMA Facilities

IRMA offers well equipped classrooms to its students with projectors and microphones and complete audio-visual systems to facilitate better learning of the students. The IRMA campus is fully equipped with WIFI with a campus that spreads across 60 acres of land.

The IRMA campus has an well- equipped auditorium that has a capacity of over 400 people where a lot of cultural programs are organized in the campus. The IRMA campus has both indoor and outdoor facilities for various sports like football, cricket, badminton, table tennis, etc.

IRMA Hostel Facilities

For student accommodations, IRMA campus has a total of 15-blocks of hostel which has over 400 fully-furnished single rooms for students. These hostel rooms are available to the PGDM students as a part of their residential course. For the Executive- PGDM students, IRMA offers 60 fully furnished studio apartments to choose from in a modern housing complex. Whereas, the FPM participants have a choice to avail accommodation at either the student accommodations or the staff quarters.

IRMA Placements

The placement highlights of the PGDM course for the batch 2019-2021 indicates that the highest package scored was for Rs. 19 lakhs per annum and the lowest being Rs. 5.40 lakhs per annum. The median package was Rs. 10.10 lakhs per annum and the mean package was Rs. 10.64 lakhs.

For the Executive- PGDM programme the average package offered to the batch thus far stands at Rs. 13.67 lakh per annum.
