GATE: The full form of GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. GATE is conducted to shortlist qualified and eligible candidates for admission in PG courses. The GATE scores are also taken into consideration during PSU recruitments. The GATE exam is conducted jointly by the seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee, and Kanpur) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

The KJ Somaiya Institute of Management admissions process for postgraduate and doctoral programs is different. Interested and eligible applicants apply for the part time, full time and executive MBA, MCA and Ph.D programs offered at the college by visiting the institute's official website.
