    B.Tech in design is planned to start at IIT Delhi in 2025. The Department of Design at IIT Delhi is set to introduce a new four-year undergraduate programme called 'B.Tech. in Design' starting from the academic year 2025–26. Admission to this programme will be determined by JEE (Advanced) rankings, alongside a requirement for candidates to pass the design aptitude test, UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design).

    It will have an intake of 20 students in the first batch. It is a four-year programme like any other B.Tech programme. The programme would offer courses, with about half of the courses belonging to the core discipline of design and the rest coming from other departments, centres, and schools (similar to the other BTech programmes).
