Hello,

No , you generally cannot apply as a reserved category (SC) candidate in West Bengal state colleges, including Calcutta University, using an SC certificate issued by another state.

Your SC certificate from another state is valid for claiming reservation in central government jobs and admission to central educational institutions (like IITs, NITs, IIMs, or other Central Universities) anywhere in India.

In simple terms, your certificate makes you eligible for reservation at a central institution like IIM Calcutta, but not at a state institution like Calcutta University.

I hope you found this helpful.

Hello Aspirant,

BCA at Chandigarh University has a good reputation for placements and a strong focus on practical skills . The university attracts top tech companies like Microsoft and Amazon for placements. However, some students have reported that the curriculum can be more theoretical than practical, and the faculty experience can vary. The university's strong industry connections and high placement numbers make it a popular choice for students looking for a job-oriented course.

Yes , universities like Chandigarh University (CU) provide a Transfer Certificate (TC) after graduation if you apply for it.

This certificate is often required when you take admission to another university for your master’s program, as it proves that you have formally completed your studies and are not enrolled in CU anymore.

Along with the TC, you will also need your Migration Certificate, Provisional/Degree Certificate, and Marksheets to get admission in a different university.

Hello,

Yes, you are eligible for CUET . In CUET eligibility, only your Class 12 marks are considered, not Class 10.

Since you have passed Class 12 with Commerce, you can apply for CUET and take admission in good universities like DU, Chandigarh University, etc., if you meet their subject and percentage requirements.

Hope it helps !
