Basic Eligibility Criteria of FPM
Master’s or Post Graduate Diploma (2 yrs) with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Professional qualifications of CA, ICWA and CS with B. Com/Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent.
B. Tech/4 year Degree with 6.5 CGPA or equivalent*
Also, a minimum of 12 months of professional experience, as most reputed institutes prefer candidates with work experience.
A valid GMAT/GRE/CAT /JRF scorecard.
Generally, candidates will have to figure out which B-school or IIM they want to opt for. In colleges, admission to FPM is provided based on the candidate’s performance in a relevant entrance test, conducted at any of State and national levels. However, some colleges also conduct their own entrance test as well. This is followed by a subsequent round of counselling. Candidates must be aware that counselling involves two additional rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview, wherein candidate’s general aptitude for the course is examined. A merit list is subsequently released by the institute allocating available seats to the qualifying candidates.
